Provincial and territorial judicial councils
In our judicial system, each provincial or territorial court has its own judicial council that manages the conduct of the judges of its courts. Each of the stakeholders is also dedicated to the advancement of better justice for all.
Their mission
As with the Canadian Judicial Council, the mandate of each of the provincial and territorial councils is, among other things, to improve judicial services within its jurisdiction. These judicial councils receive complaints filed against provincially or territorially appointed judges regarding their conduct and ensure the professional development of their judges.
